Preferences

Preferences are organized into tabs. Tabs marked Global apply across all projects; tabs marked Project are stored per project.

  • Text Display — Word wrap or truncate clip names on buttons.
  • Always open fullscreen — open Callie in fullscreen on launch.
  • Time Display Resolution — Milliseconds, Hundredths, or Tenths for TRT and countdowns.
  • Gang members use gang color — display all gang member clips in the gang color; off leaves each clip’s own color. Display-only — clip colors are preserved either way.
  • Global Output Device — system audio device for headphones/speakers and clip previews. Always a system device; never ASIO.
  • Output Type — one soundcard per output, Multi-channel device (e.g. Dante Virtual Soundcard), or ASIO (Windows only, third-party).
  • Per-Output Routing — map each output letter to a specific soundcard, or leave on Follow global (device-per-output type).
  • Multi-channel Device / Channel Routing — pick the single device carrying every output on its own channel pair, then map output letters to channel pairs, with per-output overrides (multi-channel type).
  • ASIO Device / Channel Routing — when the ASIO output type is selected.
  • Saved devices that are unplugged stay visible in dropdowns labelled (unavailable).
  • Mode — Default or Single Output. (The old Auto mode is now part of Default: unassigned clips auto-distribute to free outputs.)
  • Output Count — 3, 6, 9, or 12 outputs (Default only).
  • Show cart strip — show the output strip below the clip grid.
  • Require output assignment (Default mode) — block unassigned clips from playing instead of auto-distributing them.
  • Outputs (Default mode) — per-output row with a descriptive label, an Exclusive checkbox (output holds one clip at a time), and a Stop / Crash stop toggle for how the outgoing clip ends (fade out vs immediate cut).
  • Single Output options — Quick-fire all, One at a time.
  • Grid Layout — Desktop, Desktop 4:3, your saved custom layouts, Stream Deck XL/Standard/Mini/Plus.
  • Custom Layouts — save multiple named custom layouts: add, rename, and delete them here, and switch between them from the Layout menu.
  • Custom Grid — for the active custom layout, set clips per row (1–10) and rows (1–5).
  • Reference Source — System Clock, MIDI Timecode (MTC), or Linear Timecode (LTC).
  • LTC Input Mode — Audio Input or Serial COM.
  • LTC/MTC device — selected audio input, serial port, or MIDI port.
  • Input Gain — for LTC audio input.
  • Frame Rate — match your external timecode source.
  • Offset — timecode offset in hundredths of a second.
  • Fallback to system clock — use the computer clock when external timecode is absent.
  • Clock Color — color of the timecode display in the header.
  • MIDI Input Port — selected MIDI controller.
  • MIDI Mappings — view, learn, and delete MIDI assignments.
  • Latch UI page to Stream Deck — the Stream Deck follows the GUI page, and page turns on the deck move the GUI too.
  • Show page-turn buttons — show PREV/NEXT navigation buttons on the deck; holding a bottom-corner button still turns pages when hidden.
  • Match GUI layout on connect — switch the GUI layout to match a Stream Deck when one is plugged in.
  • Orientation — rotate the deck image 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270° for vertical or upside-down mounting.

  • Text Animation Speed — speed for Scroll/Bounce effects.

  • Clear All Buttons — clear the Stream Deck hardware display.
  • Exit Logo — custom idle image, or default Callie logo.
  • Web API Port — default 8000.
  • OSC Port — default 9000.
  • The two ports must be different.
  • Default Fades For New Clips — auto-apply fade in/out to newly added clips.
  • Audio Normalization For New Clips — auto-normalize on import; Peak (-1 dB) or RMS (-12 dB).
  • Non-WAV Imports — Ask each time, Always Convert to Broadcast WAV, or Leave as Native.
  • Storage Location — where imported packs and stems are stored.
