Vector measures NDI® and DeckLink video and shows each measurement as a scope.

There’s no free tier. No layout opens and no scope measures until you activate a key, and Vector can’t inherit another product’s free tier. The store offers a 10 Day Free Trial. See Getting a License.

Twenty-nine kinds, grouped by what they measure.

  • Levels — Waveform, RGB Waveform, RGB Parade, YRGB Parade, YCbCr Parade.
  • Chroma — Vectorscope, HML Balance.
  • Distributions — Luma Histogram, RGB Histogram, Hue Histogram, Saturation Histogram.
  • Plots — Channel Plot, CIE Plot, Saturation vs Luma.
  • Over time — Min / Max, Luma and RGB TimeTrace.
  • The picture, marked up — Preview, Neutral, False Color, Gamut Scope, Skintone.
  • Three dimensions — 3D Color Cube.
  • Quality control — Error Log, Flicker Heatmap.
  • Sound, time and text — Audio Meters and Surround Meters on the dBFS or LUFS scale, Goniometer, Timecode, Text Display.

Four layouts ship with Vector: Colorist (6 tiles), DIT (6), QC (11) and Broadcast (7). One is active at a time, and every layout presents five source slots, whatever the page shows. Pages switch from the Layout menu.

The Layout Designer panel is a right-hand panel. See Layout Designer for the boxes, Import Third-Party Layout… and Manage Custom Layouts.

  • NDI® discovery — by mDNS or a Discovery Server. The Sources menu shows the method and lists each feed.
  • DeckLink capture — Blackmagic Inputs ({n}) — Rescan, and none detected at zero.
  • Per-slot geometry — Shape: as Native, 16:9 or 4:3, plus Zoom, Pan X, Pan Y and Reset window.
  • Forwarding — a slot pushes its source back out over NDI® under its own output name.

Vector — Color opens on Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+C with one collapsible row per remembered source. Each row is a color-space transform editor: Source is:, IDT:, Gamma:, Exposure:, Gamut: and Output (ODT):. Under them, the look row Look: has Browse…, Load, Reload, Clear and the recent looks.

The catalogue has 35 transfer functions, 21 gamuts and 50 display transforms in the D65 and D60 families, plus the ACES working space ACES2065-1 (AP0), linear. Twelve camera pairings are computed, each reaching five targets: Rec.709 (BT.1886), 100 nit, P3-D65, Rec.2100 ST 2084, 1000 nit, Rec.2100 HLG, 1000 nit (P3-D65 limited) and ACES2065-1 (AP0), linear.

Interpolation is fixed to tetrahedral.

Vector — Input Settings, on Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+I, sets the default a source starts from and shows which remembered sources override it.

GET /api/license and POST /api/license/activate answer whether or not a key is in place. The API is off by default: the API tab of Preferences has Enable Web API, the Port: field and the sentence “REST API for remote control. Requires restart to apply changes.” It answers on port 1893, and Web Control API has the routes.

The plugin ships in the installation. Install Stream Deck Plugin, in the File menu, saves the bundle into the Stream Deck application’s plugins folder. It offers 19 actions and 4 dial properties over a control socket on 1894.

Save scope screenshot, in the View menu, saves the window’s frame as vector-window-{w}x{h}.png and the scope tile as vector-scope-{kind}-{w}x{h}.png. The Screenshots tab chooses the directory.
